Flower Care

Tips and Care

  1. Keep your flowers in a cool place, away from direct sunlight, heating or cooling vents, directly under ceiling fans, or near appliances.
  2. Check your flowers daily to make sure they have plenty of clear fresh water.
  3. If possible, re-cut stems with a sharp knife or scissors that will not crush the stems.
  4. Remove leaves that will be below the waterline to deter bacterial microbial growth that will limit water uptake by the flower.
  5. Keep the vase filled with water containing a flower food provided by your florist. If in floral foam, ensure foam is kept wet.
  6. Change water every 3-4 days following the above steps each time.
